For the study of hemocoagulation
Mechanism of action: The test tubes contain a 3.8% sodium citrate buffer solution, which is used as an anticoagulant to study hemostasis. Sodium citrate binds calcium ions and thus prevents blood clotting.
Note: Ratio of blood volume to sodium citrate (9:1)
The system for vacuum blood sampling must include three mandatory components.
The filler in the test tube is a buffered solution of sodium citrate, the stopper is blue.
