• Automatic defibrillators are recommended for use by people who do not have higher medical education, but on duty who are forced to provide first aid to victims. The main feature of this type of equipment is that it is equipped with a microprocessor, which provides automatic control. The device detects heart rhythm irregularities and gives a signal about the need for electro-pulse therapy. The devices are used to equip the medical posts of sports complexes, stadiums, entertainment establishments, airports and train stations.
• Universal models have automatic and manual operating modes. They can be used both in the medical office of an educational institution, and in a clinic or ambulance.
• Implant models are also called defibrillator pacemakers. They are small, work autonomously, and are designed to be implanted into the body.

In two-phase models, the location of the electrodes is not so strictly regulated. The charge is reflected by passing through the muscle twice.

Some clinics sell used cardiology equipment through technical upgrades. Such a defibrillator can be purchased inexpensively. However, it is strongly discouraged to skimp on such essential emergency medical equipment. After all, the used equipment has already used a part of its operational resource.
