MBJ20 is designed for dynamic clinical examination of newborns to determine the degree of hyperbilirubinemia in newborns by measuring bilirubin levels using a non-invasive transcutaneous method.
MBJ20 is used for initial screening and monitoring of bilirubin values during jaundice treatment, which allows for detailed monitoring of jaundice dynamics and the effectiveness of therapy.
Features:
Non-invasive transcutaneous method for measuring bilirubin levels in newborns provides a significant reduction in the stress and pain load on newborns, which is an integral part of taking venous blood to determine the level of total bilirubin using an invasive method.
Easy conversion of units of measured value from “mg/dl” to “μmol/l” by pressing one button
Average value measurement mode, adjustable by the operator.
Display - RKD
Display - measured value, units, battery charge indication, measurement mode
Power supply - alkaline batteries 2×1.5V, type AA
Measurement range - 0.0 ~ 32.0 mg/dL (0.0 ~ 547.2 µmol/L)
Correlation coefficient with serum bilirubin - from -9.9 mg/dL to ~9.9 mg/dL
Memory - 21 measured values
