A digital mammograph is a diagnostic device for taking X-rays of the mammary gland. X-rays pass through the organ, the tissues of which differ in density. As a result, an image is formed - a mammogram. Tissues of increased density absorb more radiation and appear as light areas on the image. Unlike an analog device, in a digital model the image is transmitted to the matrix.
