The Bair Hugger™ 775 combines efficiency, high precision and ease of use. The device is attached to a heating blanket/mattress with a flexible hose through which warm air is drawn. The perforated side must be placed directly on the patient, ensuring skin contact.

Safety when using the Bair Hugger™ 775 heating device:
Change the filter on your Bair Hugger™ regularly to keep the temperature within the calibrated range. Filter replacement should be carried out in accordance with the recommendations made in the service manual;
Do not use the Bair Hugger™ heating unit without the Bair Hugger™ mattresses and blankets. Using the Bair Hugger™ to blow hot air under a regular cotton mattress or blanket is not only inefficient, but also extremely dangerous. Numerous cases of thermal burns as a result of such use are known;
Heating mattresses and blankets should not be reused. When they are used again, the patient is at risk of infection;
The Bair Hugger™ should not be used with heating kits from other manufacturers. The system has been calibrated to work safely with Bair Hugger™ mattresses and duvets only. Only in this case, 3M guarantees the efficiency and safety of the system. The use of any other type of forced air heating mattress or blanket may reduce the effectiveness of the procedure or put the patient at risk.
