The multifunctional, compact and mobile Echo80 blood pressure monitor allows you to monitor the patient, simultaneously measuring the upper (systolic) and lower (diastolic) blood pressure (BP), as well as measuring the pulse (heart rate - HR). This device (sphygmomanometer) is an automated tonometer with the function of measuring HR, the principle of which is based on the oscillometric method.
Using a special cuff, the universal device is fixed on the arm. The manufacturer offers cuffs of different sizes, designed for the arm of an adult, a child and a newborn baby. Upon completion of the monitoring, the information obtained is easily transferred to a personal computer or laptop for detailed analysis.
Scope of application of the Echo 80 sphygmomanometer
The Echo80 ambulatory tonometer allows you to perform such important diagnostics of the body as daily monitoring of blood pressure. DMAT involves multiple, with a predetermined interval, measurement of the patient's blood pressure within 24 hours. In addition, this model simultaneously records the heart rate along with the blood pressure reading.
A referral for examination is given by a cardiologist, therapist or family doctor. Only thanks to daily monitoring can the doctor obtain the most accurate information about how the patient's blood pressure and pulse change during the day. The main reasons for prescribing DMAT (daily blood pressure monitoring) are as follows:
The need to control blood pressure throughout the day.
Elimination of the error of blood pressure measurement performed in a clinic due to the so-called "white coat effect".
Monitoring the effectiveness of therapy.
The principle of operation of the Echo 80 blood pressure monitor
The Echo 80 tonometer is installed on the patient in the doctor's office in a polyclinic or at a local paramedic station. This procedure is not particularly complicated, is completely safe and does not cause discomfort. It can be performed not only by a cardiologist or general practitioner, but also by middle and junior medical staff.
The patient is put on a cuff on the arm, which is connected by a flexible tube to a digital tonometer fixed on the body. At a given frequency (usually every 15 or 30 minutes), the device automatically measures blood pressure, inflating the cuff and then slowly lowering the pressure. The data obtained are recorded and stored. It is extremely important: while the Echo 80 24-hour blood pressure monitoring system is fixed on the patient's body, it is necessary to continue daily activity in the usual, everyday mode. The only exception is not to take water procedures in the shower and bath, not to swim.
After 24 hours, the device can be removed independently or in the clinic.
Features and main characteristics of the device
The Echo80 monitor model has the following features and advantages:
Compact dimensions.
Portable device with a convenient, intuitive interface, easy to use.
Can be used in therapy, pediatrics and neonatology for the diagnosis of adults, children and newborns.
Measurements can be performed in manual and automatic mode.
Color, high-definition TFT display.
Ability to monitor NIAT in continuous mode throughout the day (24 hours).
The display displays prompts about equipment errors, low power level, alarm signal, and also shows the time.
The data obtained as a result of SMAD are easily transferred to a personal computer or laptop. The provided software will help analyze information, create change graphs, and print it.
